Merry Christmas

Hello! I'm sharing another project for the Cottage Cutz Black Friday die release.  The design team has been sharing the cutest projects with these dies over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.
My card was created with the Seal & Walrus Pals and the Holiday Greetings Tree die sets.  The seal & walrus are dressed in their festive attire and perched up on their ice blocks.  The snow themed patterned paper is the perfect backdrop for the winter scene.  The Merry Christmas sentiment was trimmed and centered on the card base.  A few stars were sprinkled in as a finishing accent.

Wishing you Warmth and Cheer!

Hello!  Today I'm participating in the Cottage Cutz Black Friday die release over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  This release includes 13 new "Arctic" themed die set and they are absolutely adorable!
This shaker card features the Polar Bear Fishing die set.  The patterned paper background was the inspiration for the winter scene on this card.  The polar bear looks so content sitting on the ice block, nestled in his cozy hat and scarf.  The scene is framed inside the Stitched Wide Rectangle Frame.  The extra fish swimming amongst the sparkly sequins adds a bit of whimsy to this card.  The sentiment is a coordinating element from the same paper pad and was tucked into the corner of the frame.

Be Merry

Hello!  I have a fun and festive card to share for my design team post over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  I went with a non-traditional color theme for this Christmas card.
I used a total of 4 different die sets to cut out all the pieces for my card.   The snowflakes are from the Santa Over Christmas Town set and the reindeer is from the Silly Holiday Reindeer die set.  I opted to use the Springtime Window for my card even though the reindeer coordinates with the Winter Window which I used on this card.  The Icicle Border was the final die piece for my card.
The reindeer was nestled inside the window and icicle border was trimmed on the edge to fit along the window sill.  I stamped a sentiment from the APB Merry and Bright stamp set on a hand cut flag.
I created my card base with a non traditional color theme which definitely has a winter vibe.  The snowflakes were scattered on the base of my card.
The reindeer and window was the next element added to my card.  The window was adorned with the icicle border completing the winter scene.
The sentiment was placed below the larger snowflake as the finishing touch on my card.

Wishing You a Very Merry Christmas

Hello!  I'm sharing this card over on the Scrapping Cottage blog for my design team post.  The beautiful Christmas Cardinal is the from the Christmas Part 2 die release and is one of my favorite dies from this release.
For my card base, I went with a basic color palette and fussy cut the pieces for the fence.  I heat embossed a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Merry & Bright stamp set on a hand cut flag.
I layered the fence posts onto my card base building the fence along the bottom edge. Next, I splattered the background with some white paint for a snowy affect and matted it on a black card base.
I cut out the Christmas Cardinal in white card stock and used my Oxide Inks to shade all of the pieces.  I went with the traditional red theme for this sweet bird.
The cardinal was perched on the snowy fence as the focal point of my card.  I love the way he pops against the neutral background.
The embossed sentiment was added above the cardinal as the final finishing touch on my card.

Hello Santa

Hello!  Today's card is being featured over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  I used the Cottage Cutz Let's Bake Cookies and Winter Window dies sets to create this festive card.
The embossed background serves as the backdrop for the bake shop window.  The cookie bowls are stacked with the adorable reindeer nestled inside.  The utensils and shaped cookies make for the most adorable embellishments.  The tiny tag is the perfect finishing touch on a card designed for the baker friend or family member.

Joy to the World

Hello!  Today is my design team day over on the Scrapping Cottage blog and I'm sharing this holiday card. The scene on this card has me eager for one of my favorite holidays.
I combined dies from the Christmas Part 1 and Christmas Part 2 die releases.  I used the Farm Truck w/Tree, Joy To The World Tree and the Polar Bears w/Birch Trees for the scene on my card.  The hill was fussy cut and inked on the edges.
The snowy background was created by blending some Oxide Ink on white card stock, splashes of water and white paint splatters.
To create the joyous scene, I added the hill along the bottom edge of my card and tucked in the birch trees on the right and left sides of my card.
The Farm Truck w/Tree was centered at the bottom edge of my card overlapping a couple of the birch trees.
The sentiment was placed between the birch trees in the empty space.  I sprinkled in some iridescent sequins throughout the base of my card.
