Hello! Now that the holidays are over I thought it would be the perfect time to create a thank you card as a note of appreciation which I'm sharing over on the Scrapping Cottage blog. I went with somewhat of a simple yet fun card for this occasion.
I selected an animal print patterned paper for my card base. The rounded rectangle was inked on the edges for some dimension. I created a layer for the rectangle using my paper trimmer and a corner punch.
The two rectangles were nested for a perfect fit. The rectangles were then adhered on the animal print card base.
The sweet gorilla was affixed inside the rectangle toward the bottom edge of the rectangle.
The acacia tree was tucked behind the gorilla filling in the empty space at the top to give the appearance of a tree in the distance.
A few enamel dots were scattered as an embellishment. The sentiment was stamped on a hand cut flag and adhered on my card.
