Hello! Today I'm back over on the Scrapping Cottage with another card featuring the new Slimline dies. With Mother's Day right around the I decided to create a simple but elegant card. The floral papers were definitely the inspiration for my card!First, I cut out my card and 2 layers with the Rounded Rectangles Slimline die set. All of the die cuts are from the Spring Bloom Cottage die set which has so many elements that can be used separately as I did on this card. I used some card stock along with Oxide Inks to shade the pieces. The 3 circles are from the Circle Set die set.To create my card, I layered the rounded rectangles on my card base and then evenly spaced the circles directly on top.

Hello! I have a project to share over on the Scrapping Cottage blog for my design team post. Today's card follows the Throwback Tuesday theme featuring the fun and festive Party Animal Bus as the focal point of my card. On Throwback Tuesdays the design team has an opportunity to use die sets from previous releases and this one was sitting on my craft desk just waiting to be used. My card also showcases the new Slimline dies.I used some cloud themed paper and cut it with the Nested Stitched Rectangle Slimline die. Next, I affixed the hill cut from the Hills Slimline die set on the bottom edge of my card. It looked a little plain so I adhered another layer for a bit of dimension. I was inspired to do this by another Cottage Cutz design team member, Pam. You can check out her super cute layered hill card here. The adorable party animal bus was placed on top of the hill with a couple extra balloons floating above. I heat embossed the happy birthday sentiment directly on my card base.

Hello! For my design team post over on the Scrapping Cottage blog I'm sharing a celebratory card which is perfect for a young child's birthday or even anyone who is just a kid at heart. The new slimline dies were perfect for this fun card.I used the Nested Stitched Rectangles Slimline dies for my card base pieces and just trimmed them to size. The other dies used on my card are the Circus Lion, the Celebrate Phrase, the Pierced Oval and Oval.
The first step in creating my card was to assemble the 3 pieces for the card background. The largest piece was adhered on a white card base with the other 2 pieces layered on top.Next, the oval die cut was nested inside the pierced oval die cut and adhered in the center of my card. The adorable circus lion was centered inside the double ovals as the focal point of my card. The celebrate sentiment was affixed above the ovals on a curve for a whimsical appearance. Here are the die sets used on my card, available in the store:

Hello! Today I have a sweet card to share over on the Scrapping Cottage blog for my design team day. The bunny dies worked perfectly for this card which I plan to use for a friend's birthday! Two of the die sets used on my card are from the Springtime die release; Bunny w/Butterfly and Bunnies in Pots. I shaded the die cuts with some Oxide Inks for a soft appearance. I also cut out a Nested Stitched Eyelet Rectangle.
I selected a patterned pink card base and cut out a rectangle with my paper trimmer and created a stenciled cloud background. A whimsical sentiment was stamped on the rectangle.
