Every Cloud has a Silver Lining!

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a card over on the Scrapping Cottage blog for my design team day.  Cottage Cutz has a brand new Springtime die release with 22 die sets and they are absolutely adorable!  Once again, there's quite a variety of dies which are perfect for those all occasion cards and some Easter creations.  The best part is that they are currently on sale!

The inspiration for my card was the adorable raindrop paper. I die cut the Spring Flower Parasol from card stock and adorned it with some flowers and leaves from the Spring Flowers in Pot die set.  I also cut out some Clouds & Sun.
Next, I created my card base by adhering the raindrop paper to a standard A2 sized card.  I stamped the sentiment directly onto the card panel.
The sun was placed in the upper left corner of my card and the largest cloud was adhered next to it overlapping the sun a bit.
Next came the two smaller clouds, they filled up the empty space above the sentiment.
The parasol was anchored in the bottom corner of my card.  I really like the pop of yellow flowers, they add the perfect amount of cheer to this motivational card!
This card came together quickly and was a delight to create with the newest Cottage Cutz die release.

I Wheelie Love You!

Hello!  Today I have a whimsical card to share over on the Scrapping Cottage blog for my design team post. It's been an absolute treat creating with the latest Circus die release which lend themselves to bright and cheery creations!  Head on over to the store to catch these die sets and many others on sale for President's Day!

For my card, I used the Pedaling Puppy, the Oval Set and the Nested Stitched Scallop Oval Set.  All of the pieces were cut from card stock.

My card base was created using a couple of different patterns which seemed to work together.  I'm loving the festive pinwheel design.

Once I layered my patterned papers on an A2 sized card, I affixed the 2 scallop die cuts in a nested style. The pop of red underneath the white oval brought all of the background colors together beautifully!
The little puppy on his trike bike was nestled inside the double ovals, fitting perfectly.
I found a fun sentiment to stamp on a hand cut flag.  The play on words sentiment was a great way to finish off this quick card!

Love You Bunches!

Hello!  Today I have a sweet Valentine's card to share for my design team day over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  I'm having a blast showcasing the latest Circus die sets which are perfect for almost every occasion!

When I saw this adorable Juggling Monkey die set I couldn't wait to create a whimsical card with him.  I used basic card stock for all of my die cut pieces.  I also cut out a tiny heart from the Stitched Heart Set in some red card stock.
I found this patterned card stock in my stash and thought it would be perfect for a Valentine's Day card with a bit of a masculine look.  I hand cut out 3 different banners for my card.
I stamped a fun sentiment onto the large banner and affixed it in the center of my card base.
Next, the juggling monkey was placed in the empty space on the right side of the banner with his tail slightly over the sentiment.
The bananas were randomly adhered above the monkey's head as if he were juggling them in the air.
To finish off my card, I layered the smaller hand cut banners in the corner and added the heart on top.

Big Top Wishes!

Hello!  I have a fun and festive project to share over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  I'm using the new Circus dies on this birthday card!

I went with a bold color palette for this card using the packaging of the die sets as a guide.  I put together the Clown with Car using card stock and added a bouquet of balloons in his hand from the Clown with Balloons.  I also cut out a Stitched Wide Rectangle Frame in lime green card stock.
I found the bright and cheery paper in my stash, it added an extra pop of color to my card. The sentiment was such a fun play on words I couldn't resist using it for my card.
A coordinating strip of card stock was adhered in the center of my card base to break up the patterned paper.
Next, I created the frame for my card by simply layering the sentiment panel underneath the rectangle die cut.
The frame was adhered on my card base leaving just a few areas of the patterned paper to peak through.
The adorable clown car was nestled inside the frame.  I used the bottom of the frame as a guide to align the car.
The adorable card will be perfect for my little nieces birthday, I know it will bring a smile to her face!
