Hello!  Today I'm sharing a festive card over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  My card features one of the die sets from the brand new Sentiments with Shadow die release.  There are 12 new sentiment dies and each has a shadow feature.  They are perfect for everyday cards and are currently on sale too!

I cut out the adorable llama from the Lil' Bluebird Designs Llama Love stamp and die set. I used my Distress Inks and watercolor pencils to color everything.  The sentiment is from the new Wishes w/Shadow die set.  I cut out an extra shadow piece.
This festive paper is from my stash and I used the Cottage Cutz Oval set to cut out the oval in the center of my card.  I placed a hot pink panel behind the oval and added it onto an A2 card base.
The llama was centered inside the oval as the focal point of my celebratory card.
Next, I adhered some pop dots between the 2 shadow layers of the sentiment and adhered it onto my card.  The pop dots provide some dimension to the whimsical sentiment.
A few enamel dots were sprinkled around the llama as the finishing touch on my card.

Birthday Wishes!

Hello!  I'm back over on the Scrapping Cottage blog for my design team day!  For today's card I went with a CAS (clean and simple) design with a pop of color for the background.

The images were stamped with the Lil' Bluebird Designs Happy Birthday stamp set and cut out with the die set.  I colored the images with some bright and cheery distress inks and a watercolor brush.
The panels for my card base were cut with the Cottage Cutz (retired) Stitched Wide Rectangle Frame and Stitched Rectangle Set.
Once I stamped the sentiment on my card panel, I layered the 2 panels on a standard A2 card base which was inked on the edges to coordinate with my stamped images.
The banner was stretched across the top of my card for a fun and festive look on my card.
Next, the 3 presents and gift bag were lined up horizontally in the center of my card.
For a finishing touch, I added a couple of matte enamel dots amongst the presents.

Sea You Soon!

Hello and Happy Monday!  Today I'm sharing an underwater card over on the Scrapping Cottage. Today's card features both Cottage Cutz dies and Lil' Bluebird Designs products.

The background for my card was created with the Waves and Nested Stitched Rectangles slimline die sets.  I used a variety of Oxide Ink colors to create the sand and waves on my card.  The waves and sand were splattered with some water and the sand was also splattered with some paint.  I watercolored the images from the Under the Sea stamp set and used the die set to cut them out.  The images were nestled amongst the waves.  The bubbles and sentiment were heat embossed directly on my card.

What's Cookin?

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a card over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  My card features one of the Lil' Bluebird Designs stamp and die sets which is a new brand under Cottage Cutz! The new stamp and die sets are all currently on sale.  I'm also using one of the latest Slimline dies on my card.

My card base is cut from the Circle Windows Slimline die set in white card stock.  I also used the Lil' Bluebird Designs BBQ Time stamp and die set.  The stamped images were colored with my Distress Inks and a watercolor brush.
I found the perfect plaid style paper in my stash so I adhered it inside the windows of my card.  My card panel was added on a red card base for a pop of color.  I rounded the corners with my Fiskars Corner Rounder.
To build my card, I affixed the barbecue grill and a couple of the bees inside the first window.
Next, I placed the remaining stamped images in the other two windows leaving enough room for my sentiment.
The sentiment was placed in the center of the middle window finishing off my summer themed card.

You Warm My Heart

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a card over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  There's a new brand under the Scrapping Cottage line known as Lil' Bluebird Designs.  Currently there are 16 new stamp sets with matching dies and they are all on sale!  Today I'm showcasing one of the new sets on my card.

I was immediately drawn to the Coffee Time Stamp and Die set.  I stamped the images on watercolor paper and used my watercolor pencils to create a soft image for a rustic look.  The oval was cut out with the Pierced Oval set using a coffee stained paper.
The paper is from my stash and was the inspiration for my die cuts.  Once I selected my paper it was easy to pick out the coordinating watercolor pencils.
To create my card, I layered the oval on top of the patterned paper.  I placed the sentiment near the splattered coffee inside the oval and the coffee cup was adhered underneath.
Next, I added the disposable style coffee cup on the right side of the oval and affixed the treats in the center.
The heart was the perfect finishing accent on this sentimental card.  I just love how the stamped images coordinate with the patterned paper.
