Trendy Twine Christmas Tin Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Trendy Twine Christmas Tin Blog Hop a perfect way to start December and the special 12 Days of Christmas celebration!  The Trendy Twine design team will be WOWing you all with creative gift giving ideas using Trendy Twine as well as other products found in the Trendy Twine store.  But we will have more on that tomorrow.  Today the design team is showcasing all of the different tins that are offered in the Trendy Twine store and getting you in the gift giving mood!  So sit back, grab your favorite beverage and get ready to be inspired!

For my project, I altered a round treat tin.  I wrapped my tin with some washi tape and then double wrapped some Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine.  A small bow with a couple of jingle bells finished off the bottom of my treat tin.  I filled it up with some yummy M&M's.

For the top, I cut out an ornament and snowman face from the Joys of the Season cartridge to create a shaker ornament.  The snowman was stamped with a Peachy Keen Face stamp.  I added some holly to his hat using a Martha Stewart punch.  A few scattered snowflakes were adhered to the back of the ornament which was embossed with the Darice Snowflake embossing folder.

Iridescent sequins were added to the ornament.  A double bow in Cherry Limeade and an adorable chevron Trendy Page Dot embellished my ornament.

The hand cut tag has a sweet sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set.  I adhered the ornament to the lid of the tin so it will stay attached. Your next stop on the hop is Shelly.

Welcome to our ninth Craftin Desert Diva's stamp release blog hop!  We are excited to share with you in full the November release stamps. If you came from Nicole's blog, you are in the right place.  If not, you will want to start at the beginning with Tara.  Now on to my project, I created ornament shaped shaker card using the Get Your Jingle On stamp set:

The ornament and snowman were cut from the Joys of the Season cartridge.  The background was embossed with the Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder.  I tore some paper and added it along the bottom of the ornament to create snow and adhered a punched snowflake with a bling center.  I filled my ornament with some iridescent sequins.  A couple of jingle bells were tied to the top of the card with some Holly Berry Trendy Twine and a sentiment from the Get Your Jingle On stamp set was tucked underneath.

My tag is a SVG which coordinates with the new Tag It stamp set.  I stamped my tag with some snowflakes from the new Get Your Jingle On stamp set.  The sentiment is from the Simply Christmas stamp set.  Some bling and Stickles were added to give my tag some sparkle.  The gingerbread man was cut from the Just Because Cards cartridge and stamped with a Peachy Keen face stamp.  I added a punched snowflake to him as an accent.  My tag was finished off with some crinkle ribbon, a coordinating button and some Cranberry Trendy Twine.

A Trendy Twine Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!  The Trendy Twine design team has a special post to share today to wish our fans a Happy Thanksgiving.  For my project, I created a CAS card using a Fall stack from DCWV.

I layered a strip of burlap on top of my card and attached a hand cut tag.  The tag was stamped with a sentiment from the Craftin Desert Diva's Happy Celebrations stamp set.  I added some leaves from a Fiskars punch and used a Trendy Page Dot to embellish my tag.  A double bow tied with Orange Truffle Trendy Twine was the perfect finishing touch for my card.

Happiness Starts Here Layout

While cleaning out my scrapbooking room, I found some Disney pictures in my stash that I still need to scrapbook from a trip from a couple of years ago.  I used the Say Cheese collection from Simple Stories for my layout.

All of the elements are from the same collection with the exception of the Mickey head which were cut from the Mickey Font cartridge.  I punched some scalloped circles and added them as embellishments.  Some Chevron Washi tape was adhered to the photo mats and the title card.

The sentiment is from the Craftin Desert Diva's Destination Fun stamp set and was stamped on a hand cut flag.  A small bow in Black Licorice Trendy Twine was added to the flag.

Special Delivery Layout

This layout was created with the DCWV Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas stack, there are so many fun papers and patterns in this collection.  I used this month's sketch from DCWV to create my layout.  A small doily was tucked in behind one of the photo mats as an embellishment.

A small journaling tag was added to my layout with a couple of snowflakes punched from the Martha Stewart Arctic Snowflake punch.  I wrapped my journaling tag with some beautiful Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine.

Craftin Desert Diva's "Tag" Linky Party

 

Welcome to another Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party.  The theme for this linky party is to create a tag or use a tag on your project.  For my project, I created a fun little tag using the Joys of the Season cartridge for the Christmas tree.

My tag is from Annie's Paper Boutique and I layered it with a couple of scraps of patterned paper and a snowflake border at the bottom.  The border was punched from the Fiskars snowflake border punch and the single snowflake from a Martha Stewart punch.  The sentiment is from the Craftin Desert Diva's Simply Christmas stamp set.  The finishing touch was some Christmas Mint Trendy Twine with a polka dotted button.

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello, it's my design day over at Trendy Twine and I have a project featuring Orange Truffle twine.  I created a wine bottle tag which was hand cut.  I added an acorn from the Autumn Celebrations cartridge.  The acorn was embellished with a couple of flowers and a coordinating button.  A twine bow was added to the flower embellishment.  I wrapped the top of the acorn with some more twine and tied a small bow.  A sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set was tucked under the twine.  I only have a sneak peek for you so pop over to the Trendy Twine blog for a closer peek of my project.

Fairy Tales Do Come True Layout

Today I am sharing a simple double page 12x12 layout using the We R Memory Keepers Storytime paper collection.  The coordinated collection made this layout super easy to create.

I absolutely love the Fall theme colors and all of the wonderful patterns.  I simply cut 2 large flags on each side of my layout and added 4 photo mats.

A couple of simple embellishments from the same collection were added to each of the large flags.  I added a bit of Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine as an accent.

Some layered paper flowers from my stash along with bling centers further embellished my layout.

I added some coordinating strips to the corners of the photo mats as an accent and my layout was complete.
