Hello everyone! I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with these fun Easter Treats. This month we are featuring Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine and the Small Candy Sacks. These sacks were perfect for my "Peep" treats.
I used the Cupcake Wrappers cartridge to create the bag topper in Design Space and sized the Peep to fit perfectly on the topper. Next I punched a fence border using the Martha Stewart border punch and inserted it in my bag. I added some yummy jelly beans and a Peep. The Peep on my bag topper was one of the cuts from the Close Your Little Peepers cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs. I stamped the face with the Hello Kitty Kitty Peachy Keen Face stamps and added some whiskers. For my sentiment I used the Fun Celebrations stamp set from Scrappy Moms Stamps.
These treats would be perfect to tuck into Easter baskets and are super simple to make. So hop on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to pick up these goodies to create your own treats. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy Day Layout
Hello, today I am sharing a layout which I created some time ago. I found it in "draft" form when I was going through my blog posts. For this layout, I went to my stash of goodies and found some file folder type pockets which I used as the background for my photo mats. A couple of paper clips were added to two of the photo mats.
I added a punched border to the bottom of the page to break up the letter art background. Several flowers were used as embellishments. The sentiments are from the Scrappy Moms Just Sayin' stamp set and were stamped on hand cut flags. A couple of bows in Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine were the finishing touch on my layout.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Color Challenge - Pink and Yellow
Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps. I am super excited to share my first project as a Scrappy Moms Stamps design team member. Our theme this week is to use "Pink and Yellow" on your project. I created a sweet Easter card for my project.
The little chick is from the KaDoodle Bug Designs Eggie Buddies Hatching Chick cutting file. I modified my cut slightly by trimming off the top of the cracked egg. The egg was embossed with the Darice Crackle embossing folder. The background of my card was embossed with the Chicken Wire Cuttlebug embossing folder. I strip of grass was punched using the Fiskars Grass punch and adhered along the bottom edge of my card. The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Dancing in Circle 2 stamp set. A bit of Lemon Tart Trendy Twine was the finishing touch.
I hope you will join our challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps and link up your "Pink and Yellow" projects to be entered to win a stamp set of your choice. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Trendy Twine Design Day
Hello, it's my design day over at Trendy Twine and I am sharing a single page 12x12 layout. I created a "grid layout" using Design Space and my Cricut Explore. My project features Watermelon Taffy, our showcase twine color this month here at Trendy Twine. This gorgeous twist of pink, lime and white is on sale this month so you may want to pick it up in the store. I added touches of the twine to each of the easter eggs, the bunny, banner and tag as an accent. I used the Swirly Page Dots on my tag which coordinated perfectly with the twine.
The Eggie Buddies Bunny is from KaDoodle Bug Designs and the Hippity Hop title was cut from the Teresa Collins Easter Basket cartridge. I just love how the sentiment from Scrappy Moms Subway Sentiments Holiday stamp set goes perfectly with my layout. I had to mask off the top of my sentiment to make it fit my grid. The Fiskars Grass punch was used on the bottom of a few of the grids in my layout. A few homemade enamel dots were the perfect finishing touch on my layout.

St. Patricks Day Card
I have a cute little card to share today which was created using scraps from my stash. I used the Eggie Buddies Penguin cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs. The "Happy Penguin Couples" face stamps from Peachy Keen were used for the eyes.
Some Twisted Lime Trendy Twine accented the base of my card. The shamrock was embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder and outlined with some twine.

Hello Card
This fun card was inspired by these gorgeous papers in my stash. I dug out the Typecraft Craft Smith paper pad which is full of bright, cheery colors and patterns mixed with kraft, such a fun combination. I cut a pennant from the Pretty Pennants cartridge and adhered it to the card base layering it with a strip of grass punched from the Fiskars grass punch.
The sweet bear was cut from the KaDoodle Bug Designs Busy Bee Bears cutting file and pop dotted on the card for added dimension. I love this sweet bear and am thinking there might be a layout using these bears in my future. A sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set was added to the card along with a couple of enamel dots and a double bow in Totally Grape Trendy Twine.

Happy Birthday Gift Bag
This gift bag started out as a plain white bag which needed some sprucing up. I attached some patterned paper to the bag and cut a couple of cupcakes from the KaDoodle Bug Designs "Sweet Treats" cutting file. I used the same paper to create a small tag. I went for a monochromatic theme using different shakes of pink for my cupcakes. They were embossed with the Retro Kitchen and D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folders.
Each of the cupcakes were pop dotted on foam for added dimension. I used my white gel pen to add a bit of doodling to the cupcakes. The tag was tied onto the bag with a bit of Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine.

Birthday Girl Layout
Today I am sharing a birthday layout. Next month kicks off several birthdays for my family so I have been getting a jump start on some projects. I opted for a cheerful Spring theme for my single page layout.
I found these gorgeous papers in the Charming Charlotte stack from Craft Smith and knew they would be perfect for a girly layout. I used a solid pink border to break up the different patterns, the edges were punched with the EK Success Pointed Flower punch. The cupcakes were cut from the KaDoodle Bug Designs Sweet Treats cutting file and popped up on foam dots.
A journaling tag with some washi was tucked in behind the photo mat. A bit of Posy Trendy Twine was added to the tag. A few paper flowers, a doily, some enamel dots and a large brad were used to accent my layout. The finishing touch was the "Birthday Girl" sentiment which is from the Scrappy Moms Birthday Hugs stamp set.
