Fall Card

Hello!  Today I have a fall themed card to share over  on the Scrapping Cottage blog for my design team post.  After such a hot summer, I'm definitely ready for fall which inspired this card!

I found the perfect fall themed papers in my stash.  The colors are so vibrant and fun.  I especially love the yellow and green mixed with the burgundy!

I used a couple of punches from my stash, one to create a border and the other to punch a scalloped circle for my card.

I used the Flatbed Truck with Accessories, Fall Phrases, Pumpkin Pie & Latte and the Mail Tag Set dies to cut out the pieces for my card.

I created my card base with the patterned papers, added the scalloped border and layered the tag on top of the background.  A small twine bow was used to accent the tag.

Next I placed the Flatbed Truck in the center of my card.  The "fall" sentiment was added to the tag along with the tiny pumpkin on the scalloped circle.

Butterfly Card

Hello!  Today I have an all-occasion card to share which is perfect for stashing away for a special day.  I used the Momenta Butterfly Cut & Emboss set to create my card.

I started with basic white card stock and embossed the background with the Butterfly embossing folder in the set.  I rubbed some ink over the embossing so that it would pop.  The large butterfly was cut out with the die and inked it on the edges.  The butterfly was adhered on a piece of patterned card stock.  I added a couple of flourishes from the same set and finished off my card with some sequins.

May Your Day Bloom with Happiness

Hello!  Today I have a card to share over on the Scrapping Cottage blog featuring the Magical Garden dies.  This whimsical scene was created with the Flower Pot House die set.

This die set has so many detailed pieces that come together to create the adorable Flower Pot House.  I also cut out the Picket Fence Border to coordinate with my other die cuts.  Everything was shaded with some Distress Inks.

The picket fence was trimmed on the edges so it would fit along the base of my card.  I created a sign by stamping a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Flower Power stamp set on some card stock.  After punching a couple of holes on the top corners, I tied some Totally Natural Trendy Twine to finish off my sign.

I created the soft background by inking my card base in a couple of different colors.  The picket fence was added to the bottom portion of the card base.  A couple of flowers were tucked into the fence posts.

The Flower Pot House was anchored perfectly between the picket fence pieces to create a whimsical scene.

The sign was adhered at an angle above the pot.  A flower shaped brad was perfect for holding up the sign.

Happy Birthday

Hello!  I have another fun birthday card to share today over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  This fun and festive card was created with the new Cottage Cutz Birthday dies.

I selected the 2 patterned papers for my card base and then used the polka dots to pick out the colors for the die cuts on my card.

The Party Hats were cut out of the different colors of card stock.  I also cut out the sentiment from the Happy Birthday Swirly Cake die cut and trimmed off the cake.  The rectangles are from the Stitched rounded Rectangle Set.

Once I put together my card base, I added the strip of polka dotted paper along the left edge.  The four rectangles were placed in the four corners of the striped card stock.

I continued to build my card by adding each of the Party Hats at the center of each of the rectangles.

Once I had all of the Party Hats adhered to my card, I placed the sentiment at the focal point of my card.

Happy Birthday

Hello!  I have another birthday card to share over on the Scrapping Cottage created with the new Cottage Cutz Birthday dies.

I found the patterned paper in my stash and pulled the solid color stock to coordinate with the colors.

I cut out the Party Mouse with Presents in white card stock and used some inks to shade all of the pieces.  I also cut the Stitched Wide Rectangle Frame.

Totally Sky Trendy Twine coordinated perfectly with my background paper.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Simple Sentiments.

The patterned paper was layered on the red card stock.  I wrapped the twine at the top of the card base.  The lighter blue paper was layered underneath the Wide Rectangle Frame.

The sentiment was anchored in the corner of the frame and the Birthday Mouse with Presents was balanced inside the frame.

The finishing touch was a twine bow.  I tied the ends of the bow for a bit more softness on my card.

Love Card

Hello!  Today I have a CAS style card to share created with the Momenta Intricate Floral Love die.  This card was created by inking up some basic card stock and using the die to cut out the heart shape.  The mix of ink colors gives it a pretty pop of color.

I cut out another layer in basic black card stock and opted to not pop out the tiny die cut pieces. The black die cut image was layered beneath the colorful die cut.  Next, I added the glued pieces to my card base.  A few coordinated enamel dots were the finishing touch on my card.

Happy Birthday Card

Hello!  Today I'm sharing this birthday card over on the Scrapping Cottage blog for my design team post. Birthday cards are my absolute favorite to create so I had a blast working with the new Birthday dies from Cottage Cutz.

I selected a cheerful color palette with a happy vibe which was combined with some basic white card stock.

I cut out the Birthday Puppy and shaded him and the little cupcake with some Oxide Inks.  I also cut out a couple of circles with the Circle Set and the Nested Stitched Scallop Circle Set.  A bit of Stickles added some sparkle to the candle flame.

I selected a smaller sentiment from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Simple Sentiments stamp set along with some "Tickled with Teal" Trendy Twine.

Once I put my card base together, I layered it with a hand cut flag which was wrapped with the twine to add some softness to the top of my card.  The two circles were nested together and adhered on top of the oversized flag.

The puppy and cupcake were placed inside the double circles and the sentiment was anchored below. I finished off my card with a twine bow.

Thanks Card

Hello!  Today I have a CAS card to share created with some products from Momenta.  The patterned paper at the base of my card was the inspiration for the colors of my card.  The paper is from the Momenta Peony paper pad.

On the top portion of my card, I cut out the flowers and sentiment with the Momenta Thanks Floral Wreath Cut & Emboss set.  My card is also embossed with the same set even though it's a bit hard to see in the pictures. A bit of inking around the edges really makes the sentiment pop.  My card was finished off with a bit of Totally White Trendy Twine.

Wish Card

Hello!  Today I'm sharing this sweet card over on the Cottage Cutz blog for my design team post.  I used the new Birthday dies for the focal point and also pulled in a couple of older Cottage Cutz dies for this festive card.

The inspiration for my card was the patterned paper from the Bo Bunny Surprise 6x6 paper pad.  The different colored polka dots were used to draw out the bright colors of my die cuts.

The Party Elephant and Party Favors are from the new Birthday dies.  I used the Nested Wacky Stitched Rectangle Set for the white card base and the Stitched Alphabet for the sentiment.  Once I cut out my pieces, I shaded them with some cheerful colors of Oxide Inks.

I layered the Wacky rectangle frame on my pattered paper.  The "wish" sentiment was adhered at the bottom of my card base and the adorable elephant was placed above the phrase.

Next, I added the presents above the sentiment and layered them slightly for a more cohesive design.

I created an embellishment cluster with the three tiny flowers in the corner of my card and finished off the birthday scene!
