Have a Cup of Cheer

Hello!  Today I have a sweet card to share over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  Warm drinks remind me of the holiday season which inspired me to create this card.
I used the Warm & Cozy Cocoa die set from the Christmas Part 2 die release to cut out all of the pieces for my card.  The circle is from the Double Stitched Circle Set and was inked to coordinate with the patterned paper.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Merry and Bright stamp set.
The holiday drink paper is such a happy pattern and was the inspiration for my card.  I added some red and white striped paper along the edge for a festive look.  The circle was layered on top.
The cocoa mug was centered inside the circle and the cookies were added as a cluster next to the mug.
Next, I scattered the 3 snowflakes above the cookie mug creating a visual balance inside the circle.
I finished off my card by adding the sentiment flag above the circle with a small bow in Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.
Here are the dies used on my card available in the store:

Ho Ho Ho

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a card over on the Scrapping Cottage blog featuring the new Christmas Part 2 die release.  I used the Ho Ho Friends die set for my card.
I found this festive paper in my stash which I used for the letters.  The adorable penguin, snowman and reindeer were nestled inside the letters with the holly as an accent.
I created a tea length card ( 4"x9.25") for the sentiment to fit vertically on my card.  The string-light paper was the perfect background for my card.  I added some solid card stock at the top and bottom of my card base to break up the pattern.
I used some foam pop dots on the backs of the letters for added dimension on my card.  Next I added  the letters to my card base.
A sentiment from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Christmas Cheer stamp set was stamped on a hand cut tag. The hole was embellished with a hole reinforcement punched with the We R Memory Keepers Hole Reinforcer punch.
I wrapped my card with some Candy Cane Trendy Twine along the edge.  The mini tag was tied at the top for a finishing touch on my card.
Here's the die set used on my card which is available here:

Greetings from the North Pole

Hello!  I have a snowman themed card to share today featured over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  The die set used on my card is from the Christmas Part 1 dies.  There is also a brand new release of Christmas Part 2 dies.  Between the two new Christmas die releases, there is something for everyone!
I created a snowy background for my card with some Oxide Ink, a sprinkling of water and some white paint splatters.  The die cut pieces are from the Snowmen w/Fence die set.
Once I dressed up my snowmen in their hats and scarves, I located my long forgotten Peachy Keen Stamps (Frosty Friends Face Assortment) and used them for the snowmen faces.  A bit of inking and chalk added some dimension to the snowmen.
I created a pole for my sentiment to add a bit of character to the snowy scene.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Merry & Bright stamp set.  I used my paper trimmer and a punch to cut out the pieces.
The pole with the sentiment was adhered to my card base and layered with a bit of solid card stock at the bottom of my card.
Next,  I placed the first snowman on the right side of my card and then added the taller snowman at the center of my card.
The third snowman fit perfectly between the taller snowman and the pole with the sentiment directly above.
To finish off the snowy scene, I adhered the picket fence directly above the solid card stock.

From Our House to Yours

Hello!  Today I'm sharing this winter card over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  This card was created with one of the new sets from the Christmas die release. The Santa Over Christmas Town die is so versatile for creating winter themed cards.
I cut out all of the pieces in white card stock to create a winter wonderland scene.  The snow border was fussy cut.  The background was created with some Oxide Inks and white paint splatters for a snowy look.
I accented the die cuts with some Stickles to add sparkly details to the the plain white pieces. The snow border was stamped with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms (retired) A Holiday to Remember stamp set.
To create my winter wonderland scene, I adhered the snow border at the base of my card.  Santa's sleigh and the reindeer were anchored above.
I filled in the edges of my card with the trees and placed the house in between the trees.
The snowflakes were the finishing accents on my card.  I cut one of the snowflakes in half and adhered a half to each side of my card.

Fall Card

Hello!  Today I have a fall themed card to share which was created with the Momenta Fall Cut & Embossing Template.  I used the embossing folder for the wood grain pattern on the kraft card stock. A bit of ink was rubbed over the wood grain to make it pop.
I created the "Fall" sentiment with the Alphabet Uppercase Cutting Template and adhered it on some solid card stock.  The leaves anchored the sentiment.  A bit of jute was tied to the leaves as a finishing accent.

Cookies for Santa

Hello!  Today I'm sharing this holiday card over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  The Baking Reindeer die is one of the most adorable sets in the new Christmas die release.
I used colored card stock to cut out all of the pieces and inked them on the edges.  I added some chalk to the cheeks of the reindeer.  A couple of extra bowls and a spoon were cut out to be used as embellishments.
I put together my card base and a Stitched Square which was accented with some Krafty Red Trendy Twine.  The Stitched Square was layered on some burgundy card stock.  The border strip was punched with the Fiskars Scallop Sentiment punch.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms (retired) A Holiday to Remember stamp set.  I also hand cut a basic flag in some polka dotted paper.
I put together my card base by placing the scalloped border along the edge of my card.  The square was added on top with the hand cut flag tucked underneath.
The Baking Reindeer fit perfectly inside the square.  The extra set of bowls with the spoon were added to the bottom of my card.
The sentiment was the finishing accent on the bottom of my card for a cohesive look.

Celebrate Card

Hello!  Today's project was one of those 5 minute cards which came together very quickly.  I used the beautiful Metallic Ink 8.5x11 Paper Pad for the background of my card.  The shaded paper with the splashes of metallic gold was perfect for my celebratory card.
The flower border was cut with the Momenta Flower Border Cutting Template and layered with a sentiment from the Hello Fetti Cutting Template.  I added the sentiment to a strip of vellum.  A few sequins were sprinkled on the base of my card as a finishing accent.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a nice day!

Winter is Warmer Together!

Hello!  I'm sharing a fun card over on the Scrapping Cottage blog created with the new Christmas Dies.  I fell in love with the adorable Skiing Gnomes and wanted to create a card with both of them.
I found the snow themed paper in my stash which is the perfect background for my card.  I cut out the sweet gnomes and put them together.  The snow mounds were cut out three times.
The snow mounds were trimmed and accented with Stickles.  I added a strip of solid white card stock to the bottom of card base and layered it with the snow mounds.
Once I created the snowy scene, the first gnome was placed at the bottom of the snow hill.  The second gnome was anchored above the snow slope.
The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Merry Kissmas stamp set and was stamped on a hand cut flag.

May the Joys of the Season Be With You

Hello!  Today I have another card to share over on the Scrapping Cottage blog featuring the new Christmas dies.  This sweet winter scene was created with the Polar Bears w/Birch Trees die set.
I kept all of my die cuts very basic using white card stock with a pop of colors on the polar bears. The frame is from Nested Stitched Scallop Rectangle set.  I gave the die cuts a bit of inking on the edges to keep them from blending into the background.
I used a polka dotted pattern my card base and inked the white rectangle frame with some Oxide Ink.
The Winter scene was pulled together inside the frame with the polar bears at the focal point.  I trimmed the snow mounds so they would fit perfectly in the rectangle.  The tiny heart was adhered on one of the birch trees.
The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Merry Kissmas stamp set.  The sentiment was accented with a small twine bow created with some Totally White Trendy Twine.
