Plant Seeds of Kindness

Hello!  Today is my design team day over on the Scrapping Cottage blog and I'm sharing another card with the new Gardening die release.  I used several dies from this charming release.
I found the most darling patterned papers in my stash which inspired the colors for each of the die cuts. I used the Mouse w/Garden Wagon, Garden Hose Mini, Gardening Tools and Garden Border for my card. I only used the watering can from the Garden Border and discarded the remaining pieces.
The 2 sheets of paper were trimmed to incorporate all of the different patterns and floral border on my card base.  I stamped a fun sentiment along the top edge of my card.
After adhering the mouse with his wagon, I simply filled in the bottom half of my card with the hose and gardening tools.
The watering can was the final accent on my card to finish off the happy looking gardening scene.

Live Life in Full Bloom

Hello!  Today I have cheerful card to share for my design team post over on the Scrapping Cottage blog. My card showcases the new Gardening dies which include such cute characters with a happy vibe!
I selected the Gardening Mouse and the Garden Phrases for the focal point of my card.  All of the pieces were cut with card stock and inked on the edges for some dimension.
I created a simple background for my card using a cloud stencil with some ink.  I only used one ink color however created an ombre effect.  The puffy clouds make for a fun card base.
Once I had my background completed, I added the dirt mound and adhered the garden sign by tucking it into the mound at a angle.
The mouse was adhered to fit perfectly under the sign.  Next I added the rake in his hand creating the whimsical gardening scene.
The final die cut was the small gardening tool added to the dirt mound.  It fit perfectly between the sign and the adorable mouse.

Good day, sunshine!

Hello!  Today I have a project to share for my design team post over on the Scrapping Cottage blog. I'm showcasing a couple of dies from the fabulous new Gardening release.
I cut out all of my pieces from the Puppy in Garden Cart and the Planter Box & Seeds die sets.  The oval is from the Stitched Oval Set.
I selected a whimsical floral pattern for my card panel and drew out the different colors for my die cuts.  A small strip of paper was punched with the Fiskars Scalloped Sentiment punch.
I created my card base by layering the pieces together and adding a stamped sentiment to the punched border.  The garden cart was centered inside the oval and adhered on my card.
Next, I tucked in the greenery along the punched border.  The seed packets and garden sign were nestled in between the greenery.
The fussy cut flag was adhered along the top edge of my card adding an extra pop of color to the gardening scene!

Have a Bee-utiful Day!

Hello!  Today is my design team day over on the Scrapping Cottage blog featuring a new project.  I used a couple of really fun dies from the new Cottage Cutz Gardening die release.
I die cut my pieces from the Golden Bear and Potted Plants die sets.  All of my die cuts were originally cut out of white card stock and then shaded with Oxide Inks.  I used the same pot for all 3 of the potted plants for a coordinated look to the larger, upside down pot.
My card base was also inked with the Oxide Inks and then layered with a honeycomb stencil.  The stamped sentiment was a nice compliment for the scene on my card.
Two of the potted plants were adhered on each edge of my card.  The third pot was nestled next to the pot on the left side of my card leaving the perfect amount of space for the bear.
The tree branch fit perfectly between the bear and the stamped sentiment.  The hanging bee hive is absolutely adorable.
A pair of adorable buzzing bees were perfect for surrounding the bee hive and completing the sweet scene.

Hello Sunshine

Hello!  Today I'm sharing this card for my design team post over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  I'm delighted with the new Cottage Cutz Gardening die release.  All of the blooms in this release are perfect for those springtime creations.
I used the Gardening Tomte and the Flower Power Tomte die sets for my card.  All of the flowers inspired the bright and cheery color combination for my die cuts.
I chose a neutral background for my card base to offset all of the colors and patterns I incorporated into my die cuts.  A tiny stamped sentiment on a hand cut flag was perfect for my card.
Once I put together my card base, I adhered the die cut elements one-by-one creating the whimsical scene.
The flowers were placed on the two edges of my card.  The tiny birdhouse was nestled in the center. The little gardening elements are so cute and work great as embellishments on my card.
The sentiment flag was placed in the upper left corner of my card as the final finishing accent.

Meow Are You?

Hello!  I have a sweet card to share for my design team post over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  There's a brand new die release with 19 new dies as part of the Gardening Bundle which are currently on sale!
I used the Garden Cat w/Wagon and the Gardening Hat & Gloves at the focal point of my card.  I also inked up a die cut circle from the Double Stitched Oval Set.  The yellow gingham paper is from my stash and provides a cheery background for my card.
I used a combination of inks and card stock for my die cut pieces.  I found the perfect sentiment in my stamp collection from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Party Animals stamp set.
I created my card by layering the oval on top of the gingham card base.  The Garden Cat w/Wagon was nestled inside the oval.
The Gardening Hat was added as an embellishment.  The sentiment strip was snipped off into a flag and adhered as the finishing accent on my card.

It's your Birthday - Paint the Town!

Hello!  Today I have a bright and cheery card to share over on the Scrapping Cottage for my design team post.  I used one of the intricate dies from the Spring die release.
I cut out the largest butterfly from the Springtime Butterflies die set and opted to leave all of the negative space pieces intact.  The butterfly was inked up with some Oxide Inks.  The doily is from the Nested Stitched Doily Set.
I used a rainbow of Oxide Inks to create the background for my card.  Once the ink was dry, I splattered it with some water.
I waited for the water to dry and then splattered the card panel with some white paint.  Next, I embossed it with a butterfly embossing folder.
The doily was adhered in the center of my card base breaking up the rainbow background.  The white doily also helps to bring out the paint splatters.
The butterfly was nestled inside the doily.  A heat embossed sentiment on some vellum was the finishing touch on my card.
